The ETA is an official authorization in the form of an electronic visa issued for short visits to Sri Lanka. It replaces the need to apply for a stamp/sticker visa. The biggest advantage of an ETA is that travellers can save money and time by applying for the authorization online. You will receive your processed Sri Lanka ETA via email. The visa is valid for up to six (6) months from the date of issue and a visitor can stay for 30 days on each visit.
